Developed after the oil crisis in 1973, Nilan’s solution serves as an alternative to traditional fuel-driven heating systems. Nilan combines high-quality, sustainable manufacturing with efficiency. It is the only supplier to have integrated a heat pump with a boiler and a Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) system into a single device, thus requiring less than 1 square meter of floor space.

This unique combination ensures a pleasant and stable floor temperature, utilizing the HRV to handle the variability and fluctuations of the Dutch climate. In the summer, warm air is extracted and split at the heat pump. The heat is used in the boiler for free warming of the hot water, and the remaining cool air (7 degrees Celsius) is used for peak cooling through the HRV.
